I became a record collector in 1978 - combining my growing passion for popular music with a new-found indulgence in hoarding things I like. This affair has been going on ever since - through format changes as well as ageing - and today I am a middle-aged man with an ever-growing love of good music, a record collection, and a growing urge to share my opinions on these things with the world.
Beside music, I'm also fond of books, pleasures of the table, small-town life and grumbling about the state of current affairs. Incidentally, all of these things are even better with a good soundtrack.
